I’m very satisfied with this guide of Ashtanga Yoga. This is the place to start if you want to pick up Ashtanga. This is a great reference, in addition to few mores, for those on the Ashtanga yoga path. This was the first Ashtanga book I read that offered attainable variations to postures. This book is a clear and concise book on Ashtanga yoga. Though I have “read” this book several time, I cannot mark it as “read”. I think this is one of those books you’ll return to as long as you’re a yoga pract I’m very satisfied with this guide of Ashtanga Yoga.
This is a wonderful reference book for Ashtanga practice. And David Swenson is wonderful. Straight forward and offers lots of modified options for asanas that might start off as too difficult.
