Unfortunately I can’t quite put my finger on it but these just aren’t as good as the Area 51 books. I will continue reading the rest of the series. What do all of these have in common? Also kind of annoying that the end of the Kindle version is the first chapter of one of Doherty’s Area 51 books. Story kept building with suspense until almost the last page which showed that the author wished the reader to know that he is certainly not done this novel and there will be more to come.
Atlantis – La Ciudad Perdida : Greg Donegan :
Each story has a good pace, and he occasionally shows glimpses of how the stories are going to intersect. The different natures don’t seem to coalesce into a believable or unified front of “bad guys.
This book pulled a lot atlantos different legends and myths together to form a pretty intellectual adventure. Apr 07, Shane rated it really liked it. It picked up quickly after that and I was captivated through the book I’d recommend it for anyone who loves science fiction, adventure and a really good read.
Another layer was added to the previous story giving just a little more insight. The amount of the technical research that must have followed to write a book like this is duly outstanding. I loved the Area 51 series by this author and that’s why I started reading the Atlantis series. This book should be the perfect one for me but it just never quite gets off the ground. This time, Dane knows what to expect.

Got a bit bored of the word “viscera”. The first made me feel the same way.
Atlantis – La Ciudad Perdida

Atlantis Book Series:
No much about Atlantis – this is more about the Bermuda Triangle. I didn’t hate the book don’t get me wrong I just didn’t love it sorry as I am to say that. Bob Mayer Goodreads Author.
I found myself wondering if this was edited professionally at all. Just a short stretch in beginning that didn’t grab me and that was military in the jungle, but that isn’t the focus, just some background. Three areas on the Earth’s surface defy explanation: Character development was pretty limited, and I didn’t really care for most of the characters. The dinegan volume set the pitch of urgency well up into the “Red-Zone” of “Dire to Catastrophic.
He is the only survivor telling strange tales of monsters and mythical creatures.
I’ve read several of this author’s “Area 51” series, and they’re pretty fun. In their defense, the books are done unlike a series I innocently started years ago and had t I thoroughly enjoyed donnegan book and especially liked the bouncing between locales and personalities.
A plane crashes in Cambodia, and a secret CIA team is sent on rescue mission, but mysterious monsters and shadows appear. Mayers is a cliffhanger writer for sure. What Dane learns on this second trip to the area is that it is a threat that once destroyed fabled Atlantis, and now threatens to destroy all life on Earth.
Mayer takes that very ‘what if’ and runs with it in a very interesting way. This book is the 2nd in the series. Good book even though it needed a good editor in the donegzn kind of way. Published June 1st by Berkley first published January 1st
